Sunflower Crochet Pattern
This sunflower crochet pattern combines simple crochet stitches with a wired stem and leaves to create a flower that can be shaped by hand. The flower is made from two crocheted center pieces, one brown and one green, while the yellow yarn creates the petals around both layers.

Flower Center

Join the Flower Centers
Place the brown and green flower centers together with their wrong sides facing each other.

Yarn over and pull through to join the yellow yarn.
The petals will now be worked through both flower-center pieces, joining them as you crochet around the flower.
Crochet the Petals
The petal follows this sequence:

Attach the Stem

Push the loose yarn tails toward the inside of the flower.
Take the straight end of the wire and insert it through the center of the green flower piece, going from the inside outward.
Position the wire inside the flower and use a small amount of hot glue to secure it to the green side. Allow the glue to hold the stem firmly in place.

Once the stem is secured, add some fiber inside the flower.
